Meet Jaen Andrews (she/her)

Jaen is a warm and person centred counsellor with over 10 years of experience working with couples and individuals. Jaen believes that empathy is therapeutic in its own regard and that “holding space” allows clients to safely to express the heart of their problems. As a practitioner, Jaen is insightful, kind and finds genuine interest in her client’s lives and emotions.

Jaen specialises in Individuals and couples counselling, using a variety of teachings and offerings to suit each situation. Jaen specialises in issues relating to chronic pain, particularly in maintaining relationships throughout the chronic pain journey.

Jaen also has a special interest in affair repair and truly believes that couples can not only rebuild trust, but deepen their emotional intimacy.

Jaen has a Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the University of Tasmania and a Certificate in Youth and Family studies from the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training. She has completed further formal training in Emotion Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy for Complex Trauma and has attained levels 1&2 in Gottman techniques.

Jaen is currently studying Integrative Sex Coaching and plans to incorporate these learnings into her practice in late 2026.

Jaen is a registered member of the ACA, level 2.
